Elena Mendez APN, is an integral part of Hawthorne Family Practice. So, let’s take an inside view of who she is and why we value her in this practice.

Elena brings her experience to us from Hackensack Medical Center. She has spent 9 years treating cancer patients as a BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing). While working and caring for the very sick, she began educating at Fairleigh Dickinson University for her Masters degree, and becoming the Nurse Practitioner she is today.

Elena is compassionate while treating her patients with the highest level of care, viewing each patient as an individual that does not fit into one exact mold.

We are happy that she joined our practice, a team player that has enhanced the quality of care.
